Artist releases Christmas Craft E-book for children
Oregon artist and performer Cher Botwinik has created her first e-book especially for children.
"Christmas is Fun When You Create It!", offers easy to follow instructions and pictures so children as young as 5 years old can make their own Christmas gifts, tree ornaments, wrapping paper and Christmas cards. Cher even provides a lesson in how to wrap your presents.
At this time it is only available, on-line or as a download from the Internet.
E-books are becomming very popular for adults; author Stephen King released his latest book, only on the Internet. There are literally thousands of "reports" on a myriad of topics, although most seem to be about marketing or getting "rich quick" on the Internet.
"Christmas is Fun When You Create It!" is possibly the first E-book just for children.
Aside from the novelty, the computer screen may be a better way to learn on your own. The pictures are bigger and clearer than a book, it's easier to click through pages while your working on a project and unlike videotape you don't need to pause and rewind.
Aside from being fun and educational, "Christmas is Fun When You Create It!" is also thrifty. Except for some polymer clay and paints, most of the tools and supplies can be found in common household utensils and recycled objects. This is a great "pre-Christmas" treat that can turn "pre-Christmas" excitement and anticipation into productive creative energy.
