"THE FESTIVAL OF FINE CRAFT" AT WHEATON VILLAGE
ONE OF SOUTH JERSEY'S BEST SHOWS
MILLVILLE, NJ - Looking for a place to satisfy decorating ideas or gift giving needs? The "Festival of Fine Craft" at Wheaton Village" is the place to be October 5 - 6. This juried show offers an extensive array of fine traditional and contemporary crafts from over 150 highly skilled artists.
Artists will set up outdoors throughout the Village's wooded grounds and, for the first time, inside the new Education and Event Center. Among the hundreds of unique, handcrafted items will be sculptural glass, innovative jewelry, stoneware, pottery, baskets, metal, leather,fiber, clay, wood, and watercolors. Participating artists include:

The Wheaton Village Volunteer Glassblowers will be on site each day demonstrating hot glass
techniques for visitors. Other ongoing craft demonstrations include woodcarving, woodturning, basket making, broom making, musical instruments, weaving, metal work, and printmaking.
In addition, there will be live entertainment each day. On Saturday the Red Barons Dixieland
Band will stroll the grounds and a special performance by the Hoh Daiko Japanese Drummers at 2 p.m. Area favorites, The Snake Brothers, will perform on Sunday, along with Solar Energy, a Caribbean steel drum band.
Family activities include "Clay Station," "Kids Korner," face painting, and the opportunity to blow glass bubbles in the studio with the help of staff glass artists.
Festival fare includes Thai, barbeque, roasted corn, seafood, pizza, South of the Border, and
dessert specialties. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $8.00 Adults, $7.00 Senior Citizens and $5.00 Students. Children five and under are free. All of the Wheaton Village attractions are included with the price of admission. Free parking.
